TransLEDer Fixtures

This guide includes all the information needed to properly install TransLEDer luminaires across voltage ranges and control options. Whether you’re working on a pilot site or a full deployment, follow these steps to ensure a reliable, code-compliant setup.

Pre-Installation Checklist

Before beginning installation, ensure the following:

Appropriate mounting hardware is on-site (side-arm, pole-top, or wall bracket)

Voltage is available (120–277 V or 480 V as per fixture label)

Ground is bonded and accessible

All tools are OSHA compliant, and installation is performed by a qualified technician

Mounting Instructions

Default Configuration: Side-Arm Mount

Align the fixture mount with the designated pole arm.

Secure with stainless steel bolts provided.

Torque to manufacturer specification: 22–28 Nm

Ensure the fixture angle is level or per photometric spec.

Optional Configurations:

Pole-Top Adapter: Fits standard 2-3/8" tenon

Wall Bracket Kit: Use with anchor bolts and secure to a flat vertical surface

Important

Confirm voltage at site matches fixture rating. Do not energize until all wiring is secured and grounded.

Controls Integration

Photocell Setup (NEMA 7-Pin):

Remove the dust cap from the receptacle

Insert the photocell with clockwise rotation until locked

Confirm twist-lock fit

Smart Node (DALI-2 or D4i):

Plug into the 7-pin port

Configure via the back-end system per the node manufacturer’s instructions

Label the fixture ID for network tracking

Troubleshooting & Common Issues

Fixture won’t power on: Check circuit voltage and connections

Controls not responding: Ensure the smart node is seated, then test the node in an alternate fixture

Fixture misaligned: Re-torque arm bolts; check for pole distortion
